It would be unrealistic to suggest that facilities at La Taillade are totally suitable for use by the physically handicapped although it is fair to say that one of the Chalets goes some way to provide a level of accessibility to people with impaired movement. Despite this, La Taillade does not present insurmountable difficulties to the wheelchair-bound camper. There are certainly limitations but read the experiences of Ans and Rixt. Ans suffers from Rheumatism and has been confined to a wheelchair for some time and Rixt had an accident. At the time of her stay at La Taillade in summer 2005 she was undergoing rehabilitation and should soon be less dependant on her wheelchair.
