Some practical things and the costs of accomodation:
Ø The season at La Taillade is short due to the altitude. From the middle of June the camping is open to receive guests although some facilities; the swimming pool, shop and restaurant, are not available until the main season in July and August. It is also possible to camp during the first two weeks of September, again, with reduced facilities. It is advisable to enquire about camping outside of the main season.
Ø Chalets are available strictly by reservation together with a deposit of 1/3 the total stay. The season is similar to the camp site. Reservation is not required for the camping unless you have a particular desire for more sun, more shade or a larger pitch.
